IT Systems Administrator

IT Systems Administrator (m/f)

Location: Hamburg, Germany

Time: Immediately

Type of employment: Full-time, Permanent contract

Responsibilities:

• Manage all operating systems and end-user software
• Install, configure, operate, and maintain the existing IT infrastructure
• Deploy new applications and enhancements to existing applications, software, and operating systems
• Manage and ensure the security of databases and data transferred both internally and externally
• Recommend, schedule, and perform software and hardware improvements and upgrades
• Use available monitoring and diagnostic tools to proactively identify potential issues before they affect end users
• Resolve IT requests quickly and professionally

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration, or other related field
• Strong technical knowledge of common business operating systems and applications, including Windows, Windows Server, and Office
• Experience in maintenance and installation of systems for laptops, tablets, and smartphones
• Experience with Virtualization technologies such as VMware
• Extensive knowledge of TCP/IP protocols and network services such as DHCP and DNS
• Experience in managing network profiles/ domain accounts with Active Directory
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Good command of the German language would be an advantage
• Teamwork spirit, flexibility, and troubleshooting aptitude
