Yacht Company-Operations Department

Yacht Company based in the Southern Suburbs is seeking for a candidate in the Operations Department, who will be responsible for the OPS management of the yacht, ensuring safe, efficient, and profitable operations, whilst ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Applicants must have:

• Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience working at sea, ideally with experience at Officer or Captain Level on ISM yachts or in a similar position.
• Extensive knowledge of onboard yacht operations across all departments.
• Claims handler.
• Good working knowledge of charter market, international yachting regulations in Europe.
• Awareness of current technology in yachting.
• Personable & professional.
• Ability to talk fluently with clients at a technical level.
• Strong negotiation & mediation skills.
• Multiplatform fluency in standard office IT software across both Apple & Microsoft.
• Previous auditing and/or surveying experience would be beneficial.
• Fluency in English.
• Computer literacy.
