Waiters/Waitresses

We are looking for enthusiastic waiters/waitresses for the summer season 2023. We offer a professional working environment, food and accommodation. English language and relevant/accredited experience in service are required. Wine knowledge will be considered an asset.

Job description

• Provide excellent customer services.
• Always strive towards best customer satisfaction.
• Greet customers and present menus.
• Make suggestions based on their preferences.
• Take and serve food/drinks orders.
• Up-sell when appropriate.
• Arrange table settings.
• Keep tables clean and tidy at all times.
• Check products for quality.
• Deliver checks and collect payments.
• Cooperate and communicate with all serving and kitchen staff.
• Adhere to all relevant health department rules/regulations and all customer service guidelines.

Qualifications & experience

• Degree in Hospitality/Tourism
• Working experience as a waiter/waitress in a luxury boutique hotel
• Excellent command of both English and Greek language is essential.
• Very good knowledge of a second foreign language will be considered an asset.
• Hands-on experience with cash register and ordering information system
• Self-motivated, enthusiastic and customer-oriented
• Well groomed with strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Teamwork spirit
